ON-SITE SOIL REMEDIATION SERVICES:

Amerapex Total Environmental Solutions Technology (TEST)™ provides safe and effective soil remediation that results in elimination of waste generation, off-site transport, landfill disposal, or import of clean fill. We help clients eliminate potential landfill liability concerns and significantly reduce costs by using a combination of mechanical and chemical processes to remediate impacted soils.

Pre-TEST™ Soil Remediation Services:

Amerapex completes several steps prior to bringing the first piece of equipment on a client’s site. The characteristics of the soils and contaminants of concern vary from site to site. The steps outlined below provide assurance that Amerapex can treat the impacted material for the price we quote our clients.

STEP 1
Identify the state/federal regulatory agency with jurisdiction over the site. This allows Amerapex to determine the cleanup standards applied to the site.

STEP 2
Collect representative samples at the impacted site. Representative samples show a good cross-section of the impacted area of the site. Amerapex sends the samples in appropriate containers and at the appropriate temperatures to a pre-approved laboratory being sure to maintain chain-of-custody.

STEP 3
Analyze samples for contaminants of concern for each specific site.

STEP 4
Compare the analytical results to the clean-up standards developed by the appropriate regulatory agency.

STEP 5
Identify potential treatment chemicals to be applied.

STEP 6
Set up pilot tests in Amerapex’s Pasadena facility to determine the appropriate treatment chemical and the most effective dosage.

TEST™ Remediation Services:

Once the pre-TEST™ steps are completed, Amerapex brings the necessary equipment and machines on-site to begin the TEST™ soil remediation services. First, the impacted soils are run through Amerapex’s soil remediation machine. This machine reduces the soil particle size to maximize surface contact area. Next, the soils are exposed to the appropriate oxidants necessary to reduce the contaminant concentration to the negotiated levels. Lastly, the treated soils are backfilled into the original excavation.
