TECHNOLOGIES
Amerapex leverages a comprehensive range of advanced technologies to treat industrial and environmental water streams effectively. Our systems are designed to address diverse contaminants, optimize water quality, and support sustainable operations across industries.
COAGULATION / FLOCCULATION
- Coagulation and flocculation are fundamental chemical processes used to remove suspended solids, colloidal particles, and contaminants from water. Amerapex designs tailored systems that introduce coagulants to destabilize particles, followed by flocculation to aggregate them into larger flocs for easier removal. This process is critical for preparing water for downstream treatment, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
POLARIZATION
- Polarization technology enhances separation efficiency by inducing electrostatic forces that improve particle aggregation and sedimentation. Amerapex applies this method in industrial and produced water treatment to increase the removal of fine solids and reduce chemical usage, improving overall water quality and process performance.
CPI (CORRUGATED PLATE INTERCEPTORS)
- Corrugated Plate Interceptors (CPI) are highly efficient for separating oil, grease, and suspended solids from water streams. Amerapex engineers CPI systems to maximize separation in high-flow applications, protecting downstream equipment, and reducing maintenance needs while allowing treated water to be safely discharged or reused.
HYDRO-CAVITATION
- Hydro-cavitation generates controlled microbubbles and pressure fluctuations to break down contaminants, reduce microbial load, and improve water quality. Amerapex implements hydro-cavitation in combination with other treatment steps to optimize removal of suspended solids and organics in industrial and produced water.
DAF / DGF (DISSOLVED AIR & GAS FLOTATION)
- Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) and Dissolved Gas Flotation (DGF) are proven technologies for removing oils, greases, and suspended solids from industrial wastewater. Amerapex’s DAF/DGF systems generate microbubbles that float contaminants to the surface, allowing them to be easily removed. This method is ideal for oilfield produced water, refinery effluents, and other industrial streams.
ELECTRO-COAGULATION
- Electro-coagulation uses electrical currents to destabilize and aggregate contaminants, including heavy metals, suspended solids, and emulsified oils. Amerapex provides electro-coagulation systems that are energy-efficient, reduce chemical consumption, and enhance overall water treatment performance, particularly in challenging wastewater streams.
ELECTRO-MAGNETIC TREATMENT
- Electro-magnetic treatment applies to magnetic and electric fields to alter particle behavior, enhance sedimentation, and prevent scaling and fouling. This technology is used in industrial water systems where continuous treatment and low maintenance are priorities.
SLUDGE PUMP SKIDS
- Sludge pump skids are engineered solutions for safe handling, transport, and processing of sludge generated during water treatment. Amerapex designs compact, reliable skids that integrate pumping, metering, and containment systems, ensuring efficient sludge management and minimizing operational downtime.
CLARIFICATION
- Clarification systems remove suspended solids and impurities from water through sedimentation and chemical treatment. Amerapex customizes clarifiers to meet industrial water quality targets, enhance downstream treatment performance, and support compliance with environmental regulations.
MEDIA POLISHING
- Media polishing employs granular media bulk to remove fine particles and residual contaminants after primary treatment. Amerapex applies this technology to achieve high-quality water suitable for reuse or discharge, improving operational efficiency and protecting downstream systems.
CHEMICAL TREATMENT
- Chemical treatment involves the precise dosing of coagulants, oxidizers, pH adjusters, and other chemicals to neutralize contaminants and optimize water quality. Amerapex develops customized chemical treatment programs tailored to the specific characteristics of each water stream, ensuring effective and reliable results.
