Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) is a highly sensitive and accurate non-destructive testing (NDT) method employed by Amerapex to inspect welds for defects. TOFD is commonly used in combination with phased array testing to confirm defect locations and actual size, and it serves as the primary screening method for detecting High Temperature Hydrogen Attack (HTHA).
