POSITION SUMMARY:
Project Manager with experience in remedial construction including planning, implementation, monitoring, completion, and follow-up.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- On-site field administration, supervision, and technical management of all remediation operations with remedial construction experience.
- Develop understanding of scope of work for each specific project as defined in the bid documents.
- Supervise work force, crew mix and foreman for self-performed scopes of work.
- Direct and control all means and methods of construction.
- Coordinate and manage the work of contractors, subcontractors, assuring proper staffing.
- Manage any labor force on site, including cleanup and safety personnel.
- Review all contract documents to seek out conflicts or omissions.
- Explore alternate means and methods to improve efficiency or cost.
- Plan the remediation process to establish and maintain schedule.
- Review and understand all subcontract scope requirements, terms and conditions.
- Track and coordinate long lead items.
- Ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, codes and safety requirements.
- Track the status and delivery of all materials and equipment -know long lead items impact on schedule.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in construction industry
- Experience in contract procurement
- Experience managing people during remediation projects
- Problem solving individual and a strong sense of urgency required
- Thorough understanding of all project management systems (scheduling, cost control procurement, and estimating.)
- Thorough understanding of all basic safety requirements and OSHA standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS degree (preferred) in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field
- 5 or more years of remediation project management experience preferred
- US work authorization (Required)
