Process engineering applies science to the design, construction and operation of processes in which materials undergo changes; whether physical, chemical or biological.

Industrial Plant Feasibility Study

Amerapex Corporation performs feasibility studies to test client concepts and define the costs/benefits of a plant concept. A profitable concept moves to the flow sheet development stage using state-of-the-art steady-state and dynamic simulation tools to define mass and energy balance requirements. The simulation results are used to size the plant equipment and generate equipment detailed design equipment packages. A second economic analysis is performed to ensure the estimated installed costs and future operating costs are supported by plant revenues. The Plant Design steps are often iterative and loop back as the design is refined. A final process optimization step takes place to ensure maximum plant profitability before proceeding with the plant construction phase.
