POSITION SUMMARY:
Amerapex NDT, LLC is seeking a qualified Advanced Lead Tech (AUT/PAUT/TOFD) – IRATA Level I to join our team. This position has the possibility of being located onshore along the Gulf Coast area and/or offshore in the Gulf of Mexico.
JOB DETAILS:
- Campaigned trips offshore
- Typically 12-hour days (8 RT + 4 OT)
- 7 days/wk with a maximum of 28 days offshore
- Intention is to be deployed on onshore projects when offshore work is not scheduled (These will be 10-hour work days)
- AUT/PAUT/TOFD – IRATA Level I minimum, required
- API QUTE (Shear wave flaw detection), preferred and/or;
- API QUPA (Phased array flaw detection) certifications, preferred
- Previous Chevron ultrasonic qualifications, preferred
- AUT solutions equipment experience, preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ industry experience, required
- 10 years preferred, but not mandatory
- Minimum 5 years’ offshore experience, preferred
- Drug/alcohol and background screening, required
- Valid offshore medical, survival training and minimum offshore safety training for the Gulf of Mexico
