POSITION SUMMARY:

Amerapex NDT, LLC is seeking a qualified individual to join our Business Development team. This position will be based out of Amerapex’s corporate office in Houston, TX, however, candidates should be willing to travel.

The ideal candidate will have specialty and/or niche areas of expertise in the Advanced NDT/inspection field to yield inside and outside sales opportunities that are aligned with the company’s growth strategies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing sales and marketing strategies; analyzing trends for market penetration possibilities.
  • Establish sales objectives through forecasting and developing annual quotas for regions and territories; Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products/services.
  • Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by liaising with the supply chain and marketing departments for strategies related to demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensures its effective market presence.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and other business unit leaders for product/service niches helping the company gain and maintain competitive market advantages.
  • Build and promote strong customer relationships through partnerships and understanding their needs.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the Executive Management.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma, required
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, present, and influence credibility at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business acumen and industry experience
  • Willingness to travel
