POSITION SUMMARY:

Project Manager with experience in remedial construction including planning, implementation, monitoring, completion, and follow-up.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • On-site field administration, supervision, and technical management of all remediation operations with remedial construction experience.
  • Develop understanding of scope of work for each specific project as defined in the bid documents.
  • Supervise work force, crew mix and foreman for self-performed scopes of work.
  • Direct and control all means and methods of construction.
  • Coordinate and manage the work of contractors, subcontractors, assuring proper staffing.
  • Manage any labor force on site, including cleanup and safety personnel.
  • Review all contract documents to seek out conflicts or omissions.
  • Explore alternate means and methods to improve efficiency or cost.
  • Plan the remediation process to establish and maintain schedule.
  • Review and understand all subcontract scope requirements, terms and conditions.
  • Track and coordinate long lead items.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, codes and safety requirements.
  • Track the status and delivery of all materials and equipment -know long lead items impact on schedule.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in construction industry
  • Experience in contract procurement
  • Experience managing people during remediation projects
  • Problem solving individual and a strong sense of urgency required
  • Thorough understanding of all project management systems (scheduling, cost control procurement, and estimating.)
  • Thorough understanding of all basic safety requirements and OSHA standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS degree (preferred) in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field
  • 5 or more years of remediation project management experience preferred
  • US work authorization (Required)
