Amerapex’s physical footprint continues to grow! We’ve recently added four new office locations in Borger and Pasadena, TX, Cushing, OK, as well as Philadelphia, PA. These new office locations will help us extend our market reach and better serve our customers.
On September 11, 2020, Dawson Williams was part of group of employees tasked with using shovels to dig near a pipe they were prepping for inspection. Using the line locator for underground utilities, they noticed an exposed high voltage line tied to the pipe with stainless steel wire. Dawson exercised great leadership and used STOP WORK AUTHORITY to bring the situation to the attention of the site supervisor. This could’ve been a very serious incident, even possibly a fatality, which is why STOP WORK AUTHORITY is so important at Amerapex and in the industry. Dawson received a $50 gift card and an Amerapex safety hat for a job well done. Great job, Dawson – We’re thankful to have you on our team!
Congratulations to all Amerapex employees in ITP, Pipe, PDM and Eddy Current at Formosa Plastics for completing more than 150,000 hours with no recordables or downtime from January 2020-current. Units worked in include Chloralkali, Olefins 1, 2 and 3, VCM, PE2 and PP2.
